The Cervantes Saavedra School Ship, docked at the Marina of Valencia, is the practical training vessel for the Camilo José Cela University Centre for Maritime Studies. This centre was launched to meet the needs of both professionals in the maritime sector, as well as all those who want to start in recreational sailing on historical ships, offering different courses and specialisation certificates.

The UCJC Centre for Maritime Studies is certified with the ISO 9001 quality standard by Lloyds, an international standard that certifies the management system and ensures the quality of the centre.

PROFESSIONAL MARITIME COURSES:

Basic Training in Maritime Safety

Training in the safety of seafarers, allows students to obtain their Maritime Specialisation Certificate.

The certificate certifies that its holder has the knowledge and skills for traditional sailing of a classic tall ship.

Campus: Online or face-to-face theory (Campus Almagro or Campus Cervantes Saavedra). Face-to-face practical sessions on board the Cervantes Saavedra.
