COVID-19 PROTOCOL
Despite the fact that various studies (1) suggest that the combined effect of ultraviolet radiation, high temperatures and the salt of sea water are favourable for the deactivation of pathogens, on our school ship we have established a rigorous health protocol, to try to minimize the risk of contagion on our voyages. Thus, and among other measures, upon boarding all participants will be given a rapid COVID-19 lateral flow test, included in the price of the crossing. The measures taken include:
- PCR COVID-19 test prior to boarding (48/24) hrs and letter of responsibility from the day before.
- Temperature will be taken before boarding.
- Mandatory hand sanitizer before boarding.
- Hand sanitizer gel at various points on the ship.
- Use of a masks on board (passengers must bring their own masks).
- Outdoor areas if the weather permits or separated for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
- Disinfection of common areas during the crossing.
- Complete disinfection of the boat between crossings.
Likewise, and for health reasons, this season beach towels will not be offered on board, so each passenger must bring their own. Likewise, diving equipment (goggles and snorkles) will not be offered, so anyone who is interested in diving must bring their own equipment.

IMPORTANT
In the event of testing positive in a IgM test, the health authorities will be notified and the affected person or those who have lived together or maintained close contact during the previous days will not be allowed to board.
To reduce the possibility of not being able to access the boat at the time of boarding, a PCR test is recommended in the week prior to departure, preferably less than 72 hours before. On some voyages, the PCR test prior to boarding may be mandatory; check the particular conditions of each program.
In case of not having been able to board due to a positive rapid lateral flow test, a voucher will be issued for the amount paid to be able to use it on any other of our voyages.
CANCELLATIONS DUE TO COVID-19
In case of cancellation due to health restrictions derived from COVID-19, the money for the trip will be returned or the possibility of obtaining a voucher for the amount paid will be offered to be able to use it on any other of our trips.
