CULTIVATING
EMOTIONAL BALANCE

During the 3-day voyage, participants will learn meditation techniques and the importance of practice. All this in the relaxed and unique environment of the sea.

This voyage will include the Cultivating Emotional Balance (CEB) programme where participants will learn to how to manage emotions and increase well-being.

 

DURATION AND DATES:

Who is it aimed at:

Anyone who wants to learn how to manage stress and emotions.

Timetable:

07:30 – 09:30h

Beginning of the day meditation and yoga (voluntary) and breakfast.

09:30 – 11:30h

CEB theory and practice

12:00 – 13:30h

CEB theory and practice

13:30 – 14:30h

Lunch.

Free time.

16:30 – 18:00h

CEB theory and practice

18:00 – 19:00h

CEB workshops and practical sessions, group reflection

OUTINGS AND FACILITIES

The camp takes place on the schooner the Cervantes Saavedra If time permits, the practical sessions can be done in coves of Formentera.

COVID protocol, the cabins will be for individual use except for couples who will share a cabin at a special price.

  • Additionally, we recommend for those who are interested, lunch or dinner at the Oceanográfic de Valencia restaurant. Remember to book in advance.
  • On Saturdays there is Opera in the Ciudad de las Ciencias with last minute discounts at 18:30 at the box office.
  • Bicycle or scooter rental.
  • The sailing times, timetables and places of anchorage are provisional and are subject to possible changes according to the sailing conditions and subject to the captain’s discretion, who, based on this, could delay the departure or bring forward the return.
  • Sailing experience is not required.
  • Suitable for children (recommended minimum age 8 years old).
  • Appropriate footwear must be worn on the deck of the boat (deck shoes or sneakers with a light-coloured sole. No heels).
  • Music can be played in the aft bar, as well as on the upper deck, as long as there are no drills happening at the time and respecting the rest of the crew and neighbouring ships in the coves.
  • Meals are self-service normally in two shifts.
